2018 Domaine Leflaive Macon Verze Maconnais

Winemaker Notes: All fruit is manually harvested and pressed in Verzé, and was farmed biodynamically. The resulting wine is that of great purity, with both floral and mineral notes, which gives off a lot of energy and liveliness.

Neal Martin - 87-89pts - "The 2018 Mâcon-Verzé comes from nine different vineyards over 13 hectares and is matured in stainless steel, concrete and a small amount of used oak. This was scheduled to be bottled toward the end of 2019. It has pretty Granny Smith apple and wet limestone aromas that are well defined. The palate is crisp and fresh, with a strong citric element and a touch of sour lemon toward the powerful finish."
