2019 Voerzio Martini 'Monvigliero' Barolo
CRITICAL ACCLAIM
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - "A relatively new submission to this portfolio with fruit from one of the most celebrated sites in Verduno, the Voerzio Martini 2019 Barolo Monvigliero reveals an almost delicate bouquet with lilac, dried violet, orange peel and toasted aniseed. More power and fiber are delivered to the palate, and the wine ends with young, grippy tannins that will soften with time. It finishes very dry but with elegance."
Vinous - "The 2019 Barolo Monvigliero opens with very pretty, nuanced aromatics. On the palate, the 2019 is quite closed and inexpressive. Perhaps this will soften in time. Well will see. Today, the Monvigliero has good energy, but not quite the sensual appeal that characterizes so many wines from this Verduno vineyard. Score: 92+. "
