2020 Caparra & Siciliani 'Solagi' Cirò Rosso Classico DOC Calabria

Winemaker Notes: Ruby red color. Intensely floral and fruity nose. Crisp and fresh with a pleasant aftertaste. Vinified in the traditional way, it is aged in steel tanks. Ideal for meat, roasts and long-aged cheeses. The wine should be served at room temperature. 

"Solagi" is a town in the Cirò Marina area where there is a coastal tower. This small fortress (whose construction dates back to the time of the Swabians and Angevins) had the task of lookout and signaling an imminent danger to the inhabitants of the coast to give them the opportunity to take shelter.
