Winemaker Notes: On the nose the wine displays aromas of white fruits and flowers. On the palate, the citrus acidity balances with the alcohol and the round mouthfeel of the wine and finishes with a lingering aftertaste. An Assyrtiko wine with an intense character produced from young vines growing on the mountainous vineyards of Amyndeon
CRITICAL ACCLAIM

James Suckling - "Freshly sliced lemons and limes with granite and steel. Full-bodied, yet very compacted and tight with lively acidity and phenolics at the end. Drink now. Screw cap."

Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - "The 2021 Assyrtiko is unoaked and comes in at 13.5% alcohol. Tense and lively for Assyrtiko, this is a focused young white that still has flavor and sufficient ripeness, but it also dances over the tongue. Its freshness is admirable, but the good fruit is lovely too. In this new brand, this might be the best yet, granting that they aren't all here together. This is well done. Under screw cap, it should hold well too. For the moment, let's lean up. This does need to demonstrate some ability to hold serve or improve for a few years, at a minimum. It should."
