Winemaker Notes:  100% Nebbiolo from vines planted to calcareous clay. Fermentation and maceration of the skins over 7 days. Aged one year in barriques (20% new, 80% second and third use).

James Suckling - "Spice box, toasted nuts, wild cherries and sandalwood on the nose. Firm and chewy, full-bodied, with broad and muscular tannins. Pretty wood spice. Needs a few years to come together. Try in 2027."


Vinous - "The 2021 Barbaresco Bric Balin is the most reticent of the 2021 I tasted at Moccagatta for this report. Even so, it offers quite a bit of depth and fine balance, especially with regards to the integration of oak. White pepper, cedar, flowers and mint add an attractive upper register."
