2022 Domaine de Pellehaut 'Harmonie de Gascogne' Blanc Cotes de Gascogne

Winemaker Notes: A blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Colombard, Petit and Gros Mansang, and Chardonnay, all raised in Stainless Steel. The nose shows a present but not overwhelming citrus, tropical fruits, light grassiness and honeyed floral notes. The palate is light and focused with citrus, tropical fruits and good acid. 

Pellehaut sits at the top of a hill at 180 meters altitude overlooking the quaint village of Montréal-du-Gers. In fact, the name Pellehaut comes from the Roman pila haut, or high point. The château itself was constructed in the 18th century and faces the grand distant Pyrénées which can be seen in the distance on a clear day.
