2022 Lingua Franca Estate Pinot Noir Eola-Amity Hills Willamette Valley

Winemaker Notes: Sourced from our best-performing blocks of estate-grown Pinot Noir, the Lingua Franca Estate Pinot Noir begins with a heady scent of roses and red fruits. On the palate, the wine is quite dense and rich, powerful in expression, with a perfect balance of red and black fruits, dark plum, pomegranate and raspberry, then the nuances of wet stone, savory herbs come through in the lifted lingering finish and velvety texture.

This is a serious, but versatile wine that pairs well with a variety of meats, from roast chicken to veal, lamb, or pork.

Jeb Dunnuck - "The 2022 Pinot Noir Estate saw 20% whole clusters and 20% new oak. A representation of the vineyard, the blend can vary from year to year. The 2022 is a ripe ruby color and opens to notes of spice and ripe raspberries. Medium-bodied, it’s a great appellation wine, with ripe tannins and a great finish. Drink 2024-2036. A few thousand cases were produced."
