2022 Mortellito Calaniuru Rosso Terre SicilianeWhy Michael T. loves this wine: "Perfect aperitif wine. Should be slightly chilled. It is the Sicilian Beaujolais as it is light, elegant and very fruit forward. It is a natural wine that is packed with raspberry, strawberry and cranberry notes. In fact the color makes it look like cranberry juice. The Frappato grape makes this a very fruit forward wine, however the bit of Nero D’Avola gives it a savory quality. Stupendous value at $24.99."
