It’s not that we don’t appreciate chilling a drink with an ice cube infused with wine, coffee, or even herbs. We do!  But how can you resist an edible cube that cools down your drink, soaks up its surrounding flavor, and begs to be enjoyed as secondary dessert?

Watermelon ice cubes are here and they’re easier than ever to make! Enjoy them in fresh brewed iced tea, sparkling lemonade, or even with your favorite spritzer, the possibilities are endless! Scroll down for the recipe.

•  Watermelon, you can even buy pre-cubed watermelon chunks from the Plum Market Produce Department to make this already-easy recipe even easier.
•  Your choice of beverage, we used Alta Palla Sparkling Lemonade. We loved it so much, we think you should try it too.

1. Cut the watermelon into small cubes (skip this step if you purchased pre-cubed watermelon). Arrange them in a single layer in a baking dish. Place in freezer for 2 hours.
2. Fill a glass with watermelon ice cubes and pour your favorite beverage over. Cheers!
*Note: Any leftover watermelon ice cubes can be stored in a freezer safe storage zip bag in the freezer.
