2019 Vincent Girardin 'Murgers des Dents de Chien' 1er Cru Saint-Aubin

Winemaker Notes: A wine with plenty of minerality and freshness. A floral nose. In mouth, we can feel a well-integrated acidity and a long aftertaste. A full bodied wine.

The Grands Vins produced by Maison Vincent Girardin are amongst the region's finest. The vineyard is located near the Saint Aubin village at the top of the Chevalier Montrachet and Le Montrachet Grands Cru vineyards, in the south of the Côte de Beaune. Vines are over 45 years of age, and the grapes are manually harvested then pressed using a pneumatic press for slow and gentle extraction of the juice before 15 months of ageing with natural yeasts. This is a wonderful wine of great poise and freshness with a long finish.
