Winemaker Notes: The 2019 has vibrant aromas of black cherry, black licorice, cedar, bay leaf, plum, rose, and lavender. The palate has striking finesse, with a silky entry and velvety tannins lifting flavors of dark fruits, aromatic herbs and spice notes, which persist on the lengthy finish. James Suckling - "This shows so much blackcurrant, mint and black earth, together with black-mushroom and bark undertones. Asphalt, too. Full, yet so polished, with a thick, silky texture and an everlasting finish. Needs at least four or five years."
