2019 Montinore Estate 'Red Cap' Pinot Noir Willamette Valley
Winemaker Notes: A consistently well-crafted Pinot Noir at a great price, the 2019 vintage of "Red Cap" is no exception. Vibrant aromas of Bing cherry, red plum, stewed fruit and a whiff of geranium introduce a mouthful of Marionberry, cherry and sundried tomato. The palate is smooth and the structure has gumption, offering a zesty finish.
Pinot is meant to be enjoyed with food and the possibilities are endless, from salmon, to lamb, from mushroom burgers to charcuterie.
CRITICAL ACCLAIM
James Suckling - "Richer and fuller with ripe-strawberry and orange-peel aromas and flavors. Medium to full body, creamy tannins and a juicy finish."
Wine Spectator - "Vibrant and snappy, with expressive sweet cherry blossom, cranberry and rose petal accents that finish on a crisp high note."
