2018 Piazzano 'Ventoso' Rosso Toscana

Winemaker Notes:  Dark ruby center with light ruby-crimson tones toward the rim. The nose offers generous amounts of dark cherry, red plum, and raspberry tones with an underpinned savory quality of dried herbs, wild flowers, and pepper tinges. The wine is open and easy, but with fantastic energy and persistence. There is a juiciness to the palate, which displays clean lines of fruit and tension on the finish.

James Suckling - "A firm, silky red with plum and chocolate character and hints of walnuts. Medium body. Soft, creamy texture and a flavorful finish. Hard to resist now, but better in 2021. "
