2021 Bodkin 'Light Skinned' Rose Zinfandel Mendocino County

Winemaker Notes:  Since the working name of “Light Skin Contact Zinfandel” is long and awkward I started calling the wine “Light Skin” for short and over time it morphed into “Light Skinned.” While the wine is ambiguously a dark rosé or light red wine – I felt it paralleled my own family’s mixed-race heritage and wanted to celebrate that. The emojis on the label represent my three nieces, my sister, myself, my brother, my son, my father and my daughter.”
