2021 IDDA Etna Bianco Sicily

Winemaker Notes:  The new project and collaboration between the Gaja Family and Graci. This project is white focused and will be roughly 75% white production. Located in Biancavilla, on the south-west slope of the Etna Volcano, between 700-800 m a.s.l. (2296-2624 ft). This is 100% Carricante. Melon fruit aromatics and flavors dominate the wine that is then accentuated with more tropical notes of passion fruit and papaya. The acidity is bright, fresh and vibrant. The wine finishes with a really nice snap and flinty tinge, while the mid palate gives you a wine of some substance and weight.
