2020 Pierre Olivier Bonhomme 'Vercheny' Pinot Noir Vin de France

Winemaker Notes: This wine comes from a single parcel of estate fruit called La Boissière (the same parcel that produces a Pineau d'Aunis under that name). It falls within the Cheverny appellation but Pierre-O has chosen to intentionally declassify it to Vin de France. The name "Vercheny" is an inversion of Cheverny's syllables.

Whole-cluster, 15 day maceration. Fermented and aged in 225l barrels for eight months. While usually bottled without SO2, 15 mg per liter may be added at bottling if deemed necessary.
